ISTANBUL’74 is pleased to present the first solo show of Robert Montgomery in Istanbul, Turkey. The exhibition, including artist’s works in different techniques -from light installations to watercolor paintings- will be on display between March 19th- April 18th and supported by Audemars Piguet, Tektas Watches & Jewellery Group.

​Montgomery is known with his continuity of keeping the conceptual art traditions alive by using texts and poems as the base of his works. Wood engraving, watercoloring, flames, light installations and billboard installments are some of his prominent techniques. By the belief of the poems will find their place back in today’s very contemporary world, Montgomery’s works intensely reflect with poetry. Montgomery’s works, strengthen through collective subliminal topics, attract wide range of audience with their strong texts and unique presentations.
