Hasan Koca, who pioneered unisex design in Turkish fashion by bringing men’s and women’s wear together in the same collection, continues his tradition with new additions in his 2015 collection titled ‘Triangle’.
The young designer mainly uses natural fabrics in ‘Triangle,’ which forms the sequel to his first story titled ‘Line’. He is also introducing a new conception of sewing by using nuts and bolts instead of thread in his leather accessories. In ‘Triangle’ geometric forms that become one with the designer occupy a significant place. Fabrics of the same or different kind bring discipline to the form of the design by creating layers.
Natural woven or knitted fabrics are used in ‘Triangle’ whose theme is made up of cool colors such as grey, black, and navy blue. The designer also includes orange in his collection and spreads his idea of ‘timeless design’ into all four seasons.
Hasan Koca, who found his inspiration for ‘Triangle’ in construction sites, marble quarries, and natural formations, states that he ‘built up’ his designs like an architectural structure.
